The following schools have been funded by the Freeman Foundation for travel to China to establish a partner school, April 13 - 23, 2007:

Each school team of two will travel to Beijing and Shandong Province with the goal of learning about Chinese history and culture and forming a relationship with a school in Shandong Province.
Please hold Saturday, February 3 for our first seminar at a location to be determined. All passports MUST be brought to the first meeting for purchase of tickets and completion of visa application. All payment of $1,400 per team must be completed by February 1. I will sent you a bill. Please check and double check your passport to make sure it is current. Your passport MUST be valid through for six months beyond the date of expiration for when we are in China. That means if your passport expires by October 23, 2007 you MUST have it renewed. If you do not have a passport, have an expired passport, or one that will expire during the first six months after we return to the United States in April, take care of updating your passport NOW. You do not want to be rushing at the last minute plus you will hold up the group.
For now, please make a copy of the inside of your passport and send to me in the mail. If your passport is not current, send it to me when you have obtained the new one. That way I can begin to prepare our name lists.
