Confucius Statue in Connecticut

The statue of Confucius has arrived in Connecticut from Shandong Province. On September 5, an unveiling ceremony is planned from 11:00 to 11:30 AM. Vice Governor Sun Shoupu of Shandong Province will participate in the unveiling ceremony.

The statue will be positioned facing the State Capitol on the west side of the Bushnell in Hartford. The photo below shows where junipers have been removed to make way for Confucius: Picture%20414.jpg
