10:15 - 12:00 Next Steps in the Sister School Relationship, The China Exchange Initiative, Charlotte Mason and Carolyn Henderson; Tanggu #1 Middle School, Tianjin/Pinkerton Academy, Derry Public Schools, NH, John Barry, Sister School Chair
12:00 - 1:00 Lunch and Conversation
1:00 - 2:00 E-Language Program, Christine Brown, Foreign Language Supervisor, Glastonbury Public Schools; Qiao Fenghe, Consul, Wang Wen Hua, Consul, and Jiang Yu, Consul, The Consulate General of P.R. China in New York.
The dress is casual for this Saturday session. Coffee and danish will be available when you arrive and lunch will be provided. Please bring completed medical forms, a copy of SOS or equilavent medical forms and your PASSPORT.
Directions to Seymour Middle School, Saturday, March 5
Seymour Middle School is located at 211 Mountain Road in Seymour, CT. Take exit 22 off 8 if you are going north or south. At the end of the exit take Hwy 67 headed west. Mountain Road will be on your left just before the Mobile gas station. Take Mountain Road to Seymour Middle School. The school will be on your left. I suggest you print out a map from mapquest.com for the best route to the school from your home location. We will be meeting in the media center. The meeting will begin at 8:30 am and conclude at 2:00 pm. My cell phone is 860-712-8666. I know that it will not work inside Seymour Middle School. If I do not pick up, please leave a message with your phone number. I will go outside the building a couple of times to check for messages. The school phones will not be operational on Saturday.
