Seminar Dates and Deadlines
The seminar dates for the Partner School and Principal Shadowing and Confucian Teacher programs scheduled for April are as follows:

Both delegation groups will follow the same schedule for the seminars.
All seminars will take place at the Connecticut Association of Schools (CAS), 30 Realty Drive, Cheshire, CT. A continental breakfast will be available when you arrive and lunch will be served as well. Lou Pear, Assistant Executive Director, Elementary, CAS, will serve as seminar host and providing leadership for the Principal Shadow and Teacher Confucian delegation.
Charlotte Mason, Carolyn Henderson and Wang Peihui, China Exchange Initiative, will provide basic information on establishing and maintaining a partner school in China. They will provide each participant with a handbook.
Dan Gregg will be providing information on the history of the Connecticut Shandong relationship, providing cultural tips to connect with China and managing logistics for the China experience with Peng Zhen, North American Director for Education Exchange, China Education Association for International Exchange, Ministry of Education, P.R. China. At the first seminar you will be provided with a handbook to prepare you for the China experience. Additional information on presenters to follow.
It is very important that all participants attend the seminars. If you do have a conflict then you are responsible for obtaining necessary information from a colleague and meeting deadlines for submitting required forms such as the Chinese visa application, passport etc. Being adequately prepared balanced with management efficiency is necessary for nearly 35 participants to have a comfortable and productive experience in China.
